Not yet 5:00 AM, I’m wide awake
Outside it’s dark, birds fast asleep.
Some duty surely I did forsake
To awaken me with such a leap.
First day of Purim, Esther’s feast?
It must be that, turnoff the light.
No no a great event at least
Awakens me with such delight..
Of course! It is Official Spring
And on that day some years ago
Came forth my Anna and everything
Took on a new and happy glow.
