Hard times at Bent Creek

There’s always a bit of a let-down after MPNforum is published and out in the world.   So I took Jenny up to the Bent Creek along the Hard Times trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains . Bent Creek is a narrow tributary most of the way that widens into an occasional pool, before joining the French Broad River.  Western North Carolina is at its best about now and I thought I’d share it with you.  Seeing that there is relief from the Torrid Summer.
Following the good discussion on the 23andMe DNA MPN initiative, I realized it’s not guaranteed to happen.  A cohort of 1000 participants is the minimum for this on-line research group.
So I thought I’d sample how you all are feeling.
Enjoy the Summer. Kids are already back at school here in town.
